These are a timeless classic liquorice named after a village in Yorkshire. Pontefract Cakes, sometimes also known as 'Pomfret cakes', are really quite delicious.
With a rich unique flavour of liquorice they are deliciously chewy. Soft round liquorice discs with writing embossed on one side, always a great favourite. And they last for ages!
